Once On This Island

Based on a novel inspired by the classic Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale The Little Mermaid, this Caribbean-Calypso one-act musical tells the story of a fearless peasant girl who falls in love with a wealthy boy from the other side of the island. When divided cultures keep them apart, the Island Gods assist our heroine as she embarks on a remarkable quest to reunite with the man who captured her heart.
