A passion for helping disabled actors find their creative voice through theatre

In this special episode of the OnStage Colorado podcast, host Alex Miller talks to Regan Linton, the artistic director of Phamaly Theatre Company in Denver. The company currently has a production of Chicago running through Aug. 25 at the Studio Loft at the Denver Center.

Phamaly is a theatre company that focuses on providing opportunities for actors with disabilities. Phamaly’s mission and vision statements on their website describe it best:

Mission: To be a creative home for theatre artists with disabilities; to model a disability-affirmative theatrical process; and to upend conventional narratives by transforming individuals, audiences, and the world.

Vision: A world in which disability and the differences within the human condition are celebrated and the theatre experience is accessible and welcoming to all.
